Christchurch International Airport Expansion

The project involved creating spaces and facilities to double the passenger throughput for Christchurch International Airport.

A key feature of the design was a hub space that formed the knuckle between new and old construction allowing for meet and greet spaces as well as commercial retail spaces. The departure lounge has a 140m angled glass window that allows passengers to overlook the iconic Southern Alps and watch aircraft movements.
